Jack Irish season 3 is the last one of the excellent Australian series based on the books by Peter Temple, which you can check out here. (affiliate link). When a cop dies in a drive-thru, it sets off a chain of events that lead Jack (Guy Pearce) into his past. It turns out there is more trauma there than we knew. Was the “random” killing of his wife really random? Were his old partners as loyal as he presumed? Meanwhile, someone is killing everyone involved in the Great White drug bust of 25 years ago. Jack turns to ex-girlfriend Linda Hillier (Marta Dusseldorp) to help him out. According to the trailer, Jack’s motley crew of pals are back, too. We can’t wait to see it July 12 on Acorn.
