Penelope Wilton and David Jonsson on the set of Agatha Christie's Murder Is Easy

Murder Is Easy, an Agatha Christie mystery set in a small village in 1954, is in production with an all-star cast including Penelope Wilton (Downton Abbey), Douglas Henshall (Shetland), and Mark Bonnar (Guilt).  David Jonsson plays Fitzwilliam, the man who gets roped into finding a murderer when a woman he met on a train turns up dead after telling him that there was a serial killer in her small village.

How did you feel about the Sarah Phelps Agatha Christie Remakes?

Murder is Easy was adapted by Siân Ejiwunmi-Le Berre, and is produced by the same team that helmed last year’s successful Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?  It is the second of 3 Christie adaptations commissioned by BBC/BritBox International. Airdates TBD.
