After an interminably long 6-year hiatus, Happy Valley will return for a third and final season in late 2022. Note: Happy Valley has moved from Netflix to AMC+ in the U.S. Returning cast include Sarah Lancashire as DS Catherine Cawood, James Norton as Tommy, and Siobhan Finneran as Catherine’s sister.
The mystery will start with a body turning up that appears to be a gangland murder. On the homefront, Catherine will have to navigate grandson Ryan’s desire to have a relationship with his father Tommy. Filming starts in early 2022. We can’t wait!
