Colors of Evil: Red is a Polish film starring Jakub Gierszal from The Defence as an ambitious young prosecutor who wants to re-open a murder case from 15 years earlier. When a body of a young girl is found on the beach, prosecutor Leopold Bilski (Gierszal) discovers that the crime resembles one from the past. When his boss refuses to open the old case, Bilski teams up with the first victim’s mother to uncover the truth. While investigating, the pair runs afoul of the local gangsters who run a local seaside nightclub.
Colors of Evil: Red drops on Netflix May 29, and I confess that I’m interested in seeing if Jakub Gierszal, who plays the psychotic Piotr Langer Jr. in The Defence series, can play a good guy. You can see the dubbed English trailer here.
