Hanna is an 8-part thriller series that, although is produced by Amazon Prime, features foreign leads and locations. It’s based on the eponymous movie from 2011, and stars Esme Creed-Miles, and The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos, who play enemies instead of partners this time around. The story is both a coming-of-age and a thriller about Hanna, Kinnaman’s daughter who he raised in the forest to be a survivalist and a warrior. Just as she begins to emerge into the world, trouble finds her in the form of rogue CIA agent Enos.
